Laurel Racing Adventure

March 16 - 18

Laurel Park in Baltimore, Maryland

On Friday March 16th I flew out of Fort Lauderdale International around 9 am and landed in Baltimore where my good buddy Jim Anderson had just arrived from Minnesota.  We had booked a Marriott Residence Inn minutes from the airport, and less than fifteen minutes to Laurel Park.

Tampa Bay Derby Day 2018

Saturday March 10

On Friday March 9 Kim and I drove to Englewood to her parents' condo.  We spent the night and then drove to Tampa on Saturday to meet our friends Jack & Anya for Tampa Bay Derby Festival Day.  We had a great time!  Click HERE to read the racing journal for the day.  From the nine races I had selections I won with FOUR of them, including my BET of the Day and three of the stakes races!  We had a great time - another great racing adventure and retirement trip!
